J. Blake Scott, President
Blake founded Scott Environmental Services, Inc. in 1994 with his father, Bill R. Scott. As the president, Blake oversees Scott’s strategy and management.
Blake is a pioneer in several areas of environmental science, receiving the first statewide permit from the Railroad Commission of Texas for recycling contaminated waste in mud and drill cuttings using stabilization/solidification technology. He has given presentations at conferences and universities and has served on the Interstate Technology & Regulatory Council team for Solidification/Stabilization. He has received patents in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Dr. Norvell Wisdom, Vice President
Norvell has served as vice president of Scott Environmental Services, Inc. since 2002, maintaining the technical applications of the company.
Prior to joining Scott, Norvell was employed in Research and Development by Esso (now Exxon) Research and Engineering Company, and later employed by Norton Company and Henkel Corporation. He received certification as U.S. patent agent in 1981 and wrote 325 successful U.S. Patent Applications for inventors.
Dr. Jeanne Scott, Controller
Jeanne oversees the financial responsibilities of the company.
Prior to joining Scott, Jeanne was employed for more than seven years in the Accounting Department at Lone Star Steel and Chemicals Division at Texas Eastman, and has served in the field of education for over 35 years at Kilgore College, Northeast Texas Tech Prep Consortium and Panola College.
Paul Kern, Operations Manager
Paul has served Scott Environmental Services, Inc. since 2004. He oversees operations at customer sites and plans site-specific operations.
Paul has 27 years of experience in earthwork construction, holding positions of equipment operator, superintendent, project manager, operations manager, and head of construction.
Paul was the recipient of the 2000 BX Craftsmanship Award and has served on various safety and equipment teams. He is ISO 9001 certified and was named as inventor on two patents.
